SOFT PLUMBING
Soft pipes, reproduction, communication and food chains.

In a body of work called Soft Plumbing I worked on a series of drawings, paintings and objects, where my main source of inspiration was the world of microorganisms and invertebrates.
 This series is also inspired by the design of different household equipment as well as plumbing and tubing in our environment. 
I was investigating connections and how everybody in a modern city is linked to each other through various systems like the sewer system, electricity, telephone wires, etc.

Bacteria and other one-cell organisms are the great chemical engineers that keep our eco-system running and form the essential ingredients in our mutual primordial soup stock.
